Builder floor construction checklist

Modern builder floor interior and architectural planning reference
Repeated floor layouts still need coordinated structure, MEP, façade, common areas and floor-wise snagging.

Builder floor projects have repeated floor layouts but still require detailed coordination across structure, services, parking, common areas and individual floor finishes.

Structure and vertical planning

Confirm structural grid, staircase, lift provision if applicable, shaft locations, water tanks, service routes and terrace loads before execution.

Parking and common areas

Stilt or ground-floor parking layout, entrance, driveway, electrical panels, meters, pump room and common lighting should be coordinated with the architectural plan.

MEP coordination

Plumbing stacks, rainwater lines, electrical risers, AC drain routes, internet/communication conduits and shaft access should be resolved before finishes.

Façade and waterproofing

External finishes, balcony details, window systems, terrace waterproofing and drainage points require early decisions to avoid rework.

Floor-wise handover

Maintain separate checklists for doors, hardware, sanitary, electrical, kitchen provisions, paint, flooring and snag closure for each floor.
