Quality depends on clear drawings, approved specifications, correct materials, stage-wise checks, disciplined sequencing and documented closure. Pre-start clarity

Drawings, BOQ, specifications, inclusions, exclusions, execution responsibilities and approval routes should be aligned before major work begins.

Material control

Material quality cannot be checked only after installation. Procurement records, delivery inspection, storage and approved substitutions all matter.

Stage inspections

Critical work should be reviewed before the next activity hides it. This is especially important for reinforcement, waterproofing and concealed services.

Safety coordination

Site safety requirements vary with project size and activity. Access, housekeeping, PPE, temporary works and specialist operations should be planned rather than treated as an afterthought.

Snagging and testing

Completion is not the same as handover. Open defects, incomplete installations, functional tests and finish corrections should be closed against a tracked snag list.

Handover discipline

Final handover should cover agreed documentation, keys/access items, testing records where applicable, pending observations, care guidance and commercial closure.

The exact inspection plan should follow project drawings, structural/MEP consultants and the signed scope. The examples below are a practical planning framework, not a substitute for professional engineering approval.

Warranty and defect-liability expectations

Any warranty, defect-liability period or post-handover service must come from the signed contract and applicable supplier/manufacturer warranties. EzyProcure will not publish a blanket warranty duration that may not apply to every project. Project proposals should clearly identify what is covered, exclusions, reporting method and response process.
