AFTER HANDOVER
Post-handover maintenance protects finishes, services and long-term usability. This page provides a practical homeowner framework. Project-specific warranty or defect-liability obligations remain governed by the signed agreement and applicable manufacturer warranties.
Observe drainage, plumbing joints, doors/windows, switches, sanitary fixtures, sealants, paint touch-ups and any movement-related minor finish observations. Report concerns early with photographs and exact location details.
Keep terraces, balconies, rainwater outlets and wet-area drains clear. Avoid drilling or damaging waterproofed zones without understanding the treatment below the finish.
Check visible leaks, pump operation, tank cleanliness, drain flow and fixture seals. Unexplained dampness should be investigated before cosmetic repainting.
Use qualified personnel for electrical modifications. Keep distribution boards accessible, avoid overloading outlets and record major changes so future troubleshooting remains easier.
Follow manufacturer care guidance for stone, wood, laminates, glass, sanitary fittings and specialty finishes. Improper chemicals can permanently damage surfaces.
A periodic check can cover roof/terrace drainage, exterior sealants, plumbing, electrical panels, pumps, waterproofing-sensitive areas, hardware, paint deterioration and pest/moisture signs.
